right choice for dry core drilling

Building and installation companies increasingly need to optimise how work is carried out, to ensure site schedules are met.

To dry core drill quickly and easily through surfaces in reinforced concrete or other materials commonly used in construction, SEA Technology’s professional core drilling systems come to their aid.

A solution with unique features in the core drilling landscape is SEADRILL 1800 which, combined with specific core bits such as the Corona Tre 150 and the Corona Tre 300, creates a system that can dry drill reinforced concrete and other materials.

Depending on the size of the core bit chosen, holes from 32 to 202 mm in diameter can be drilled, going well beyond the maximum of 162 mm achieved by other machines on the market.

Tools with diameters between 50 and 100 mm can already drill holes up to 1 metre deep.

Watch the video and discover the features of SEADRILL 1800.

Precision and safety for the operator

The SEADRILL 1800 core drill features 36.000 blows per minute micro-percussion, which the operator can switch on as required, and a dual clutch, electronic and mechanical, that automatically adjusts the spindle speed: the larger the diameter of the core bit fitted, the lower the rpm, and vice versa.

If the core bit jams accidentally, the machine switches off automatically, eliminating the risk of injury.

With or without extraction kit

For those mainly working on building services, such as plumbing and heating installers, it is advisable to use SEADRILL 1800 with the dust extraction kit and the dedicated rotating head that allows it to be fitted: this way you can work dust-free, with a 30 cm long core bit for holes from 32 to 205 mm in diameter.

When a dust extractor is not needed, for example on sites with buildings under construction, or when it makes sense to reduce the equipment to be carried, 15 cm long core bits can be fitted and extensions added, still achieving holes from 32-205 mm in diameter.

 <div
