In brief
This website does not host advertising on its pages. Without your consent it stores just one technical cookie, the one that remembers the choice you made on the cookie banner, and it does not contact any statistics, marketing or third-party service, with the sole exception of the agent map. With your consent, given separately for each purpose, it uses Google Analytics to count visits in aggregate form and the Meta Pixel to measure our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and it loads YouTube videos and the MailUp newsletter sign-up form. You can change your choices at any time via the Cookie preferences link.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device through your browser in order to remember something from one page to the next: that you have logged in, which language you prefer, which choices you have made. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, and on this page we treat them all in the same way.
Not all cookies serve the same purpose. Technical cookies make the website work and do not require your consent. Statistics cookies count visits. Profiling cookies follow people across different websites in order to show targeted advertising. On this website, statistics, profiling and third-party content are activated only if you give your consent, and each one separately.
2. How we collect consent
On your first visit a banner appears with three options: Reject, Customise and Accept all. Closing it with the X is the same as rejecting: you continue with technical cookies only. Scrolling the page or continuing to browse does not count as consent. Under Customise you can accept one purpose and reject another: for example, allow statistics but not marketing.
Your choice is remembered for six months, during which the banner will not be shown to you again. It reappears earlier only if the website starts using a service that your consent did not cover. You can reopen your preferences and change them whenever you like, via the Cookie preferences link or the small button at the bottom left; if you withdraw a consent, the cookies for that purpose are deleted and the page reloads without the excluded services.

WordPress, the platform on which the website is built, stores its own technical cookies only when an authorised person logs in to the administration area: they do not concern ordinary visitors.
4. Statistics: Google Analytics
If you accept statistics, the website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to find out how many people visit it, which pages they arrive from and which pages they read. This helps us understand what works and what does not, and we only look at it in aggregate form: we do not know who you are.
Google Analytics does not log or store the IP address of visitors located in the European Union, and on our website its advertising signals are disabled: the data collected by Analytics is not used to show you advertising. The data is retained for the period set in our property, up to a maximum of fourteen months. Google may also process it in the United States, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Without your consent, Google Analytics is not even loaded: your browser does not connect to Google. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Marketing: the Meta Pixel
If you accept marketing, the website uses the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram: how many people reach the website from an ad, and how many then contact us. The Pixel also allows Meta to show you relevant ads, including on other websites and apps, and to include you in the groups of people to whom our campaigns are shown. This is profiling for advertising purposes, which is why it has its own consent, separate from the one for statistics.
The website reports two events to Meta: a page view, and the successful submission of a contact or information request form. It does not report application forms, and it does not report the content of any form: Meta knows that a form has been submitted and what it is called, not what was written in it.
In addition to the Pixel in your browser, our server reports the same events to Meta through the Conversions API, together with your IP address, your browser type and the identifier of the _fbp cookie. This serves to measure visits even when a browser extension blocks the Pixel; Meta recognises the two submissions as the same event and counts it only once. The server-side submission also takes place only if you have accepted marketing.
For the collection of this data on our website and its transmission to Meta, SEA Technology and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers; for what Meta does with the data after receiving it, Meta is an independent controller. Meta may also process the data in the United States, on the basis of the Data Privacy Framework. How Meta processes data is explained at facebook.com/privacy/policy; in the ad settings of your Meta account you can also limit ads based on your activity outside Facebook and Instagram.
6. External content
Some parts of the website are services provided by other companies and displayed within a frame. Until you consent to external content, in their place you will see a box explaining what they are: your browser does not connect to those services. From the box you can choose to show just that content, for that visit, or to always accept them.
MailUp — newsletter sign-up form
The newsletter sign-up form, at the bottom of every page, is a page on the MailUp platform (MailUp S.p.A., Italy). When it loads, MailUp receives your IP address and the technical information that every browser transmits, and may store its own technical cookies for the form to work.
That page in turn uses Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited) to tell people apart from automated programs. The service observes visitor behaviour for this purpose alone and stores the _GRECAPTCHA cookie.
If you do not want to load the form within the website, you can open it directly on MailUp via the link in the box. The e-mail address you enter is processed by MailUp on our behalf; your subscription is completed only after you have opened the link in the confirmation e-mail, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every message.
The privacy policies of the two services are available at mailup.it and policies.google.com/privacy.
YouTube — product videos
Some product pages contain videos hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Limited), embedded in privacy-enhanced mode. The video thumbnail in the product page gallery is also hosted on our servers rather than Google’s. When you show the video, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address; if you start playback, YouTube may store data in your browser. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. The agent map
The Agent map page is the only one that contacts external services without asking for consent, because the map is its content and neither of the two services stores cookies.
The library that draws the map, Leaflet, is downloaded from the unpkg.com delivery service (Cloudflare, Inc.). The images that make up the map come from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, whose privacy policy is available at osmfoundation.org. Both receive your IP address when the page loads them.
8. What this website does not do
- it does not host advertising on its pages;
- it does not use Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel without your consent, and it does not use Analytics for advertising;
- it does not report application forms, or the content of any form, to Meta;
- it does not embed content from Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn: the social buttons in the footer are simple links, and nothing is contacted until you open them yourself;
- it does not use Google Fonts: the typefaces are hosted on our servers;
- it does not download emoji from the WordPress.org servers;
- it does not use Google Maps.
9. The data you leave in forms
Contact, information request and application forms are a different matter: there you enter the data yourself, knowingly, and we use it to reply to you. How we process it is explained in the privacy notice.
10. How to manage cookies
The choices made on this website can be changed via the Cookie preferences link. You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, under privacy or security; if you delete the sea_consenso cookie, the banner will be shown to you again on your next visit.
11. Your rights
You have the right to know which data concerning you we process, to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a readable format. You can exercise these rights by writing to the contact details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
