Closer ties and stronger partnerships, to grow together

World MSME Day, which fell on Sunday 28 June 2021, is an opportunity to look back on the path taken by Sea Technology to meet the new needs of contractors and dealers. There are 3 main trends that have shaped the development of its range of products and services in recent years.

The need to limit the use of water on site and to ensure that work is as clean as possible has led to an expanded range in the field of dry core drilling of reinforced concrete.

The spread of fibre optics, with the resulting opening of sites dedicated to laying the related ducts, has given impetus to the development of the range of cutting systems, with solutions that stand out for their efficiency, material savings and outstanding manoeuvrability.

Another “hot” area is grinding systems, driven by the increase in renovation and maintenance work to restore floors and surfaces and subsequently prepare them.

Sea Technology essentially targets professional users: companies active in controlled demolition, industrial floor cutting and precast production on the one hand, and dealers and construction equipment hire companies on the other.

And it is precisely in the distribution channel that significant changes have taken place: the traditional manufacturer-dealer relationship has evolved into genuine partnerships, based on shared strategies and objectives.

Activities designed to boost dealers’ sell-out and in-store demonstration days, which give end customers the chance to try out cutting and core drilling systems, are part of this approach.

A further development of this strategy involves supporting end customers together with dealer staff: a Sea Technology demonstration technician travels throughout Italy in a vehicle equipped with everything needed to train end customers or help them solve any problems, directly on site.

Then there is WERENT®, the exclusive programme for dealers and professional hire companies, which provides everything needed to hire out cutting, core drilling and grinding systems to contractors and professional operators, even for very specific requirements or for limited periods.

In line with this vision, Sea Technology will continue to invest in activities to support professional operators, working in close synergy with its partners throughout Italy and further consolidating existing partnerships.
